Home Scenting - My Faves

First off, let me say that none of this is sponsored.  These are 100% my own opinions.

So, I am a massive fan of scenting my home.  It's almost as important as how it looks.  We have cats...several, in fact.  And, of course, I'm always paranoid about how the house smells.  Having a catty smelling home, is not cute.  So, along with doing the poo boxes every day, (Yuck!) I have several options to make my home smell better, handy.  I got to thinking that maybe you all might be interested in my choices.  Hence, this post.  Now, I know everyone has their own preferences when it comes to smells.  But, if you are into woody, and warm.  I'm your gal.  These smells are especially perfect for Fall and Winter.

1.  Lafco, Feu de Bois  -  this and number 3 are tied for my favorite candle ever.  So good!!!

2.   Diptyque, Patchouli -  I have not had this particular candle, but I want it in a bad way.

3.  Sydney Hale Co., Woodsmoke and Amber - This candle has such a glorious warm smell it's hard to want to blow it out.  Also, it's a pretty reasonable, as far as luxury candles are concerned.

4.  Jo Malone, Pomegranate Noir - This is another one I haven't had the pleasure to own, but sounds wonderful.

Next up...incense!

I am an avid incense burner.  My Dad says it smells like the sixties, but I don't care.  I love the feel it gives to my home.  But, it has to be the good stuff, not the stuff you buy at Walmart or even World Market.  There IS a difference.  Let me help you.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Number 3 happens to be my personal favorite, right now.  It's also one of the cheaper options here and lasts for about 45 minutes.  It's a little milder than some other incense I have.  So, maybe would be good for a newbie in the world of incense.

Check out this adorable holder I came across.  Love it.  Perfect for the cones.

Lastly, there are the machine diffusers.

There are many to choose from.  But, this is the one I chose just recently.  It's called Aera.  It's pretty technologically advanced, because, it links to your smart phone.  Pretty cool, huh?  I get the fragrance Moondance.  It's warm, and earthy.  It's also a little on the softer side...which, is not what I was hoping for, but it just smells so good, I don't want to change.

So, what is your choice?  What do you use?  Do any of these pique your interest?  Do tell!

'Til next time...

Loved this! I too am a big incense burner, but I've yet to dive into the good stuff. I'll definitely be trying your recommendations!
