Client Kitchen/Breakfast Nook

Today I thought I might show you the kitchen and little breakfast area.   Once again there is color, but it is a little more tempered by all the white.  You see my clients love of horses in the chairs I found.  I saw them and immediately thought they would be perfect.  So glad she agreed, as they really personalize the space.  The original art is from Lola Donoghue and they are the perfect modern accent.

The kitchen itself is such a sweet space. Especially because the original cabinets are still in place and they provide such a sense of nostalgia in a non decrepit way.  The rug could not have been a more perfect find.  And, it was difficult not to steal that vintage canister set from her.  They are just too darling.

So what do you think?  Good stuff, right?

I love it! That light is so sweet, too. Is it vintage, or something that can be bought?

So so pretty! Like that you didn't just tear everything out. Would love to see what it looks like with the bamboo shade mounted closer to the ceiling. That way you could fake that the window was taller and not block any of the window when the shade was open....but maybe you already tried that?
