Living Room Progress

Ok kids, I'm officially in the market for a credenza/sideboard for the living room.

Here is a partial pic of the wall from waaay back when we first moved in (before painting even.)  The campaign dresser will be heading up to the bedroom.

Here is another more recent, post painting pic (although it was still taken quite a while ago.)

Just trying to refresh your memory on where the aforementioned credenza will be placed.

It's a very large wall and the TV (also very large) will be sitting on top of the piece so, it's going to be a pretty important (large) piece of furniture.  Hence, the need to really like it.  Here are the three options below I have narrowed it down to. All are lovely and really completely different.

First up...

I love the simplicity of the lines on this one, plus the obvious Asian feel.

Next...

This second one is a bit more grown up and formal feeling.  I think it might be my favorite.   Ornate, and yet, still sleek.  Plus, the wood is gorgeous!

The last one is French, ornate, and really lovely.

They are all roughly the same size (pretty big.)  And all would work in the space.  So basically it's just down to where I want to take the feel of the room.  Ahh, decisions, decisions.

I'll keep you in the loop once the decision has been made and the special piece has been acquired.

Just thought I'd touch base, and let you in on some things happening right now on the home front.  Hope you had a wonderful weekend, and have an even better week!

Talk soon.

Even though it's not election day, I vote for the second one.

I vote for the first one - I think it's cleaner lines will let the other pieces sing....

I just love glimpses into your home! You have so many wonderful collected pieces!

Hard decision indeed! They are all beautiful! I think I like the second one because it contains combined elements of both the asian and the french piece. But I know you'll make any of them work!

xx
