Yelena Bryksenkova

As I'd guess you know, I'm not typically into folk art.  I can appreciate it, but it's not usually my thing.  I came across Yelena Bryksenkova's watercolor illustrations by way of Down and Out Chic and decided they had a stylish edge and were more than worthy of your attention.

Then there is her fairytale series depicting the various childrens' stories we all know and love...

Wouldn't these be spectacular in a nursery, or a child's room?  I just think they are so special.  Hope you enjoyed them.  It's fun to see and appreciate all sorts of different kinds of art.  Have a lovely, fairytale of a day.

Thanks for sharing! I agree with you; these pieces are so pretty and whimsical. I think the fairy tale prints would be perfect in a modern nursery!
