Flea Finds and Possibilities

So this last weekend was a flea weekend. In fact, I got together with my fellow fabulous Kansas City blogger friend Tobe, of Because It's Awesome, and we had a ball (and spent waaaay too much money.) Here are a few of my finds.

The print of the lady is a really decent size and so lovely.  I'm thinking it might end up in the Master eventually.  The two elephant books ends were a decent price, and just too cute to pass up.  And, the absolute BEST deal of the day the 22x22 kilim pillow.  You all know how much these run typically.  Yeah, it was only $25.  Crazy.  I thought I was seeing things.    Tobe was like, "If you don't get it, I will!"  I grabbed it up, and home it came.

Also, picked up these urn lamps I talked about here.  They need black shades to be complete.

Ohhhh, also, wanted to get your opinions on this...

for here ...

... instead of my Campaign dresser (which will find itself in the bedroom.)  There's enough space, which you can't tell from this pic, and I think it would add some storage, and a bit of a modern edge, which I like.  The only thing is, it looks a little office-y.  Not sure I'm into that.  But, I would paint it, and change/add some hardware.  I just think it could be a great piece to customize to our space.  Whatcha think?

aaaaand, just to make this post even more random.   I haven't thrown any music in the mix for a while, soooo, here's a song for your listening pleasure.  It's one of my favorites ever, ever, ever.  Enjoy your day!

I dig it! I think the "officeness" will be tempered well with that enviable sofa of yours and the coffee table. Hard call on the painting at this point...maybe you'll have a better idea once you get it in there?

Still jeals of your finds!! They're even more fabulous pulled out of the clutter.

Love the painting! I like the credenza, but it does look officey. I think paint and hardware would change that though. Maybe you could also raise it up and add some cool legs? Just a thought. Its such a big piece and I've been looking for one like that myself!
