So today, we are talking tables. Dining tables. Can I just say there are a plethora of options out there. And, I like a whoooole bunch of them. So narrowing it down, yeah, not the easiest thing for me. Of course, $$$ plays a large role in this (as always, oh to be independently wealthy.) There are a ton more that I looove, but they are a bajillion dollars, and I don't even have the ba part, let alone the jillion.
Below are the ones I dig that are actually in the budget...

Those round out the more modern options on the plate right now. Here are some examples of what I am leaning towards a bit more heavily though...
Yup, rustic, beaten all to hell, reclaimed wood table. I'm sure you are like, "Whoah! Didn't see that coming!" I know, I know. Definitely not my usual route. BUT, the rest of the room is going to be stark white with black trim so there is going to be a healthy dose of modern in there, and I don't want it to feel too cold. The last pic, is from a client I worked with in NYC quite a while ago (don't think I posted on it.) The table was absolutely phenomenal, and probably a large reason why I am contemplating going that route now.
I have found a couple of people who make custom tables like this in the KC area, so it wouldn't be hard to come by. Here is a bit of what that might look like below...
And, there you have it. The details and contemplations surrounding my dining table dilemma. I think I know which route I will take, but you never do know with me. I am a woman after all, and we reserve the right to change our mind at any time. Which route would you go?
Have a wonderful rest of your day! Thanks for stopping in.

Based on the fact that you're going to combine the table with a stark room, I say go rustic, Nichole. Plus, it would be great to work with a small, local vendor in your area. Can't wait to see what you go with!
DO you have a link of where to purchase the ones on the top? I love them!! :)

I've always wanted one of those big wooden barn tables that seats 14 or so.
