Christmas At Our House

Decorated the living room a couple of weeks ago. Just got around to taking pics the end of last week though.   Thought I might show you where I stand right now with my progress.  Bad iphone pics, once again.  When I get the place painted I'll whip out the good camera.  Promise.

I love those chairs.  The seats will be reupholstered, hopefully sooner rather than later.   The stools were a find not too long ago that I just could not pass up.  They were no spectacular deal, but they were worth it to me, and will also be reupholstered, in fur like this...

At least that's the plan, anyway.

See Santa on the mantel below?  He's been in my family for close to 60 years.  He's very special.  Although I have to say, some of our kitties are kinda scared of him.

So that's what the living room looks like at this very moment.  Before long, it will be Christmas.  Can you believe how quickly this season is going.  Nuts.  Have a lovely Monday all!

The bones and layout of the pieces in this room are incredible! I can't wait to see how it comes together when you paint etc - and those chairs will be stunning too!
