Katie Ridder Love
I was asked if I wanted to review a new book coming out on designer Katie Ridder's work if they sent it to me. I was all about it. After receiving and perusing the lovely work contained within said tome, I was even more about it! First thing's first. The woman ain't afraid of color. She uses color boldly and frequently. If you are a color person and are trying to figure out how to utilize it well within your home. I would take a gander at this ladies work, as she knows how to do it in a lovely, non-garish way. The lavender room on the cover is my personal favorite of hers, I think due to the softness. But, some of her other spaces really have a striking quality, that is hard to ignore. Have a look at some of the spaces in the book below. But, believe me, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are plenty more where these came from. All in all, this is a wonderful book to enjoy, learn from, and put on your coffee table for pretty. Enjoy!

I love the colors in the dining room. The flowers in the vases just set it off.
Beautiful rooms! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for the book up here in Canada!
The color and composition in these rooms blows me away. I love the green dining room. Great post! xo
WOW! All of these are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing - I will be checking her book out at some point in the future :) I'm loving the blue trim with the matching fireplace!
