Looks like a regular pendant right? I think this is one of the coolest things I have come across lately. Yes, it is a light, but, it is also a ceiling fan. Seriously. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it initially. I was trying to figure out how the sucker worked, and I have to be honest. I'm still not completely sure. But, the blades hidden within the shade are an absolutely brilliant answer to the issue of the dreaded ceiling fan. No one wants them. Everyone needs them. Enter a fan that doesn't look like a fan. Now it ain't cheap. Which is truly unfortunate for those of us not blessed in the monetary realm. But, I'm thinking since there is one, at some point they will start making more, and this option will start trickling down to us on the poor side of design.
AND, if you don't have $900 floating around for one of these hidden fan jobbers...then, here's a much cheaper, good looking option that I found through Jenny over at Little Green Notebook. In fact, I like it so much, that I think it will be replacing the very dated one residing in our living room with it. I think it's one of the better looking ceiling fans I have seen. But, if I had the money, the hidden fan would be a great way to go. Whatcha think? You like?
