My Marrakesh

You may have already seen this, as it has been featured on all sorts of beautiful sites. So, I thought, why not one more. Plus, you never know, there may be a bit I have here, that you haven't yet seen.  All of these lovely pictures are of Peacock Pavilions from My Marrakesh.  I love everything about it.  Everything.

The author (Maryam) really gives you a feel for the details of Marrakesh.  The sights, smells, and sounds really come across loud and clear.  It makes me yearn to be there to hear/feel all of those things with my own senses.  If I had the money and the time, and well, the money (did I already say that?)  I would go and visit in an instant.  I may never leave.  Good lord, just the textiles alone would be worth it!  I don't know how I would get it all home!

So, there you have it.  A beautiful place to visit...even if only in pictures.  Enjoy.

Hmmm, does the floor below look familiar?  A little bit of lace stencil was used here I see.  It makes me love it all the more!

Yes, people, that's painted via a stencil as well.  Ummm, wow.

Thanks for posting about this blog! I stumbled across it a while ago but forgot to save it and never found it again. I'm so glad to have found it again through your blog!

I would love to stay at the Peacock Pavilion one day. It looks absolutely beautiful!
