A looooong time ago, I wrote about a stool that I had found for a client's bedroom project (I will be showing the progress on that later this week) I was working on. It was found for a vanity she wanted in the room (which I also tracked down and refinished)
Here's the bench before. It had typical "vanity bench" fabric.
I loved the vintage brass, but, wanted to give it an edge...hence, one of my favorite fabrics, the croc faux-leather. Ignore the wire extravaganza in the corner. That will be fixed when it's all said and done.
Here was the vanity before...
aaaaaaand, now...
She wanted a piece that was classy, and yet still had some personality. She loves pops of pink, but we were both a little worried that too much pink would make the room look kiddish. So, I thought maybe a hidden surprise might be just what was needed. Typically that mirror is folded down and it looks like any normal, black vanity, but, the when you open it, you have a fun pink pick me up.
In the next couple of days I will be showing you the rest of the bedroom thus far. I'm kinda excited about how it's turning out!
