The fabric shown above was just bought by....me! It is a vintage, french, "tree of life" patterned sample, and it is freaking awesome! I have two more on the way. One of the the things I love SO much about this pattern is how HUGE it is. It has a 31" repeat, is hand screened, and loverly in all it's particulars. I think I'm going to frame at least one of the samples! I mean look at it...it is art! Beautiful! Who knows, one of my clients might be lucky enough to get a taste too! ( =
The store I purchased these from is called, simply enough, Beautiful Vintage Fabrics, which in all honesty, I didn't want to reveal (I'm selfish like that.) But, I decided, it wouldn't be right not to give her the credit simply because I wanted to keep her all to myself, just for the trespass of having such amazing wares. I hate having a conscience sometimes! SO, there you have it....go on, clean her out! There are plenty more fabulous, vintage, fabric finds where these came from.
