Calendar Wall Art

This is not a new idea.  I've been doing this for years, as I'm sure several of you have.  But, there are some that still don't know about this fantastic opportunity for beautiful, inexpensive art.  Especially when the calendars are of the high quality variety, with thick textured paper, and gorgeous vintage prints like the ones I am featuring today.  The one above is from Terrain and the rest are from Anthropologie.

Typically,  prints alone, of this size and quality would cost you a pretty penny (or more.)  But, these will fit into any ready-made 8x10 or even 11x14 frame and cost a fraction of what they would if you bought them individually.   Add to the fact that you have 12 like pictures, and you have the makings of a gallerie wall.   Take it a step further, and flea market the frames, and we are saving some serious cash here.  Are you pickin' up what I'm putting down here, people?  For under $25 (not counting the frames) you have high quality, attractive, and not the size of a postage stamp wall art.  I'll take it!

I love these, but I have one problem: the metal binding scrapes the paint off my wall! Any recommendations?

Beth-

Like I wrote in the post. You wouldn't keep it as a calendar in the binding. You would cut the prints out, frame them, and use them as art. Thanks.
