Living Room...almost finished.

I wanted to take some final pictures of our living area (even though it's still a work in progress) and show them  before we moved.  However, after much deliberation, and a rainstorm over the weekend (where the roof did not leak,) we have decided to stay.  Stupid?  Maybe.  But, the thousands of $$$ (seriously) it would take to move into another place because of all the fees/etc just outweigh all the positives of moving.  So with the roof fixed for the final time (we hope,) we are going to stay.  I have to say I was getting a little excited about the possibility of a new place.  But, I still have a ton to do with this place and am looking forward to getting to finish it!  The living room is still not quite done...I still have that Juju project on the back burner, among a couple of other things.  I hate showing things before they are "complete," but, I figured...ehhh, what the heck.  I might as well share since I took the trouble to take the pictures. So here you go, my not quite finished living room, on a very dark and dreary day.  Don't judge too harshly.  K?

The large cameo will be heading to the bedroom (which I have officially started,) as will the fluffy light over the table.  Which means, I will be getting something new for above the dining room table....AGAIN!  But, I think it will be perfect...you'll see.  And, if not, I'll just change it back.  Do you just love decorating.  I drive my poor husband crazy!  What will go in the Cameo's place?  Hmmmm...I have plans.  There are LOTS of feathers involved.  Just a little hint.

It's beautiful. And I am still loving the DIY light fixture. It just looks like a beautiful mum. However, I am a wee bit sad that you will need to dismantle your work once you move....but alas that is the fleeting beauty of design.

Luckily, due to the reasons listed above ($$$$$$$$,) i will not be dismantling it as I thought I would have to when the pics were taken. But, thanks for the kind comment...always makes me feel good.

I love the lamp over your table -- and your entire living room area is gorgeous! Where is your wallpaper from?

Jenn-

Thanks so much! If you are referring to the wall in the kitchen with the silver flowers. That is not wallpaper. I painted that not too long after moving in. You can see the process if you click on the label for the kitchen.

Gorgeous! I love every single detail in your home. The houndstooth rug is so amazing and your coffee filter light is one I must try to reproduce. I love love love the framed photographs on the painted brick wall and the silver mirror is divine! I think the cameo might be one of my favourite things I have seen in a long time and those little pink footed chairs are so fun. So basically, I love everything!
