Andirons Reveal
So this post is a continuation of this post, that I did a couple of days ago concerning a pair andirons that I picked up at an estate sale in the Catskills. I asked you all what you thought concerning the color. I got varied answers. A couple of votes for yellow, or the turquoise, and one for white. I decided to go the white route. Okay, so it's a little less colorful, and definitely not as much of a step out of the box. But, I think it will compliment many interiors...and still provide some interest. I mean, how often do you see a pair of glossy white andirons holding the wood in a fireplace. Not so often. I think they are just different enough to be interesting, but not so wild and out there, that they only appeal to one kind of buyer. I mean, I'll go out on a color limb sometimes, but, I thought I'd test the waters with something a little safer for this first time out. So, what do you think? You like?
