Coming Along Nicely
So, here we are in progress. I'm already LOVING the shelf/mirror thing. The detail is amazing, and the silver brings that out even more. There's a little drippage that I fixed after the photos were taken, but really it's a moot point because, I have a semi-risky idea left to execute involving that area. My husband thinks I should leave it as is. But, as far as I am concerned, greatness is never achieved by playing it safe. Plus, if I don't like it, I can always paint it back. Am I right? So, onward! Hopefully, I will have the "finished" pics by next week.
My future dining chairs are also coming along nicely. I think I'm going to give them "slippers" like my other ones, only maybe in a fun color. Hot Pink? Hmmm. We'll see.

Gigi...back off sister, the only way that thing is making it's way to MO is if we move back! ( = Thanks for liking it though, it makes me feel like I'm not crazy for painting something that old bright silver!
Jen-
Yeah, I'm a little concerned about the comfort level of the caned seats. But, they won't be used too often...and I kinda like the caning detail. Who knows though...they may end up having to find some cushions in the end. We'll see. ( =
love those chairs! interested in how they'll turn out.
