This is what I have been working on as of late. This is a hallway connecting the living room area to the bedroom area. It was bland, and had a massive fuse box that needed disguising, while still being accessible. Very unsightly, and perplexing. Here's what it looked like before....
Now...It needed some punch. White just wasn't going to cut it. So, to round out the living area...I decided black would be a nice way to tie it all in. Some of these I've had for years, some of it I just acquired, and some of it I made. None of it matches, and I like it that way.
The little wire "believe" sign is from Bird From a Wire. It was a tidbit she was nice enough to include in my last purchase. I painted it white to give contrast on the black wall (hope that's okay Jen.)
Below is a larger pic of the hallway. There is a can light up there, so I have already ordered my trusty can light adapter so I can add more interesting light options. Can't wait to get that done! I hope to continue to grow my pic/art wall as time goes on. I love that I am finally to the point that the basics of the living space are in place...now I just need to finish the details. Another project down...another million to go.
