Ok, so you all know I am a sucker for Jane Austen, specifically, anything pertaining to, or referencing Pride and Prejudice. While browsing through Flickr, I came across these pics, from a blog called i AM alive, where she has more detailed instructions on the project. I thought it was a pretty neat idea and could be tweaked to be personalized, like putting a picture frame around the area, etc. But, what a cool thought. It's literally the writing on the wall. Hmmm, love when the creative juices get to pumping. Sooooo many options! I might have to give this one a try!

It's best to use a calligraphy brush...it is SO much easier to use, and gives you much more control when forming your words.

Below, she used string or twine to keep her lines, and words straight. That was something I did NOT think of! Great idea for keeping everything even, and yet not having to make a line on the wall that you would have to (painstakingly) remove when you were done.

This is very cute! I'd be too scared to do that to my wall, worried that my handwriting would be messy or that I would do a spelling mistake! But this looks adorable!! :) Hazel
I think I need to do this soon! I have the perfect room and place for something like this!
Thanks for sharing!
