I know you all want to know how last night went, and you will know. On Monday. Hehe. I need a few days to go through everything, and get it organized. I'll have a part one and two. Seriously, it was THAT cool. Seriously.
Right now though, I'd like to introduce you to a little chair, whose owner contacted me to make her new again. Boy, did she need it. The initial fabric, was a thin, silk material. Obviously, it was never meant to actually be used. It was shredded, and did not fit it's stylish owner anymore. That's where I came in......
Tell me she's not gorg! She even got me a potential client, when I took her for delivery. I think I just need to start walking around with furniture for advertisement. The hubby, suggested a stroll down fifth avenue, armed with business cards. Wouldn't that be hilarious. I actually entertained the idea for a split second, and then this scenario came to mind. "Excuse me madam...can you hold onto my chair, while I hail a cab." Huh! I moved on quickly.
Anyway, back to this lovely chair (sorry, got sidetracked.) I have to be honest I did not pick out the fabric. That was done by the amazing client (good job Shireen!) But, I wanted to add a little punch to it...hence, the black trim. I took a chance, this was unexpected, but, she loved it!!! I have to say, I'm lovin' it too!
