I've been a busy girl as of late (a good thing!) Here is a chair bought, and refinished for a client. It's a very deep, peacock blue. It's a little darker than it shows here. It turned out really lovely. The rush seat was a mess and had to be rewoven, and it took 4 coats of paint to properly cover the wood. It's lacquered, so it's crazy hi-gloss (hard to tell in pic.) Hopefully, she is as happy with it as I am. Just glad it's done, and turned out well! Sigh.

Oh my God this is beautiful I love that Peacock blue. Did you also reweave the chair? It turned out beautiful.
I'm not that handy. Nope, I had the weaving done professionally. I can't even french braid hair. ( = But, yeah, I love the color too!
Such an awesome re-do (just came over here from Simply Grove!) I love that you shot the after photo with the magazine's underneath (that's how I painted the chairs in my apartment too!)
Love that blue color!
LOVES it!! fabulous color!
Great color choice! I love it. I found chairs very similar to this in my MIL's basement last wknd. I think you may have inspired me to snatch them from her house. haha
Nice color of blue! It's nice to have a good looking chair now huh!
