My Faux Chandelier.

What do you do when you live somewhere that has a ton of can lights, but no feature lighting options. You fake it. I wanted a fabulous, statement making chandelier over my table so bad I could taste it...problem was, there was no light there. I saw this mobile over at Pottery Barn Teen, (yep, that's right) and went crazy. It was the perfect everything...scale, color, feel, price. I snapped it up, and waited til everything was together enough to get the full effect. I'm super happy with it. It makes the space special, distinct and dramatic. I'm going to be doing something similar in the bedroom (once again, no light.) If it turns out half as well as this...I'll be pleased. What do you think?

Here it is on the PB Teen website...sucked me right in! I am even happier with it in person. It's fun to break the rules every so often! Make your own decor drama!

It's gorgeous. I tore this out of their magazine along time ago and it's in my inpsiration file. It looks great over your table and the whole room looks awesome as well. I love the wall color.

Good grief lady! It looks fantastic!!
I don't know what I hate more-can lights or popcorn ceilings. Way to work around those cans!
You must divulge the wall color...pretty please??

Awww, thanks everyone. Gigi, the color is Black Suede by Behr from HD! In flat and gloss! Don't you just love the name...it sounds so swanky.
