All in the Details.

Finally, my black walls are finished.

I realize it's all black, but the center stripe is high-gloss black, and the framing stripes are flat black. Subtle for sure...but, just an extra interesting layer to provide depth to the design. It's more obvious in person though. They almost look like two different shades. I'm super happy with it. Can you see it?

Don't you just loooove the cat box in the background. Nice. Nothing is really even close to finished. The house is still a disaster, and virtually empty (still waiting for the couch to arrive, among other things)...but, I have my black walls dang-it! So the rest is sure to follow! Sooner rather than later, I hope!

It looks great! What is this room being used for?

This is actually one big room, both living and dining. The two walls painted black (I only showed one,) is the dining area. I wanted set it apart with color even though it's part of one big room. I'll show the whole picture, the closer it gets to finished. (-=

Wow. And I thought I was daring when I painted my great room ceiling dark brown. This is beautiful!
